“She delighted audiences” ~ Romsey Advertiser
Nina Rideout’s classical guitar playing has been described as captivating and hauntingly beautiful.
“Enchanting” ~ Vincent Lindsey-Clark (International concert guitarist & composer)
Nina has given four lunchtime recitals in Romsey Abbey – and played in Winchester Cathedral, The National Gallery and on the Mottisfont Estate.
Her recital performance in Romsey Abbey of To a Wild Rose, was selected by the MacDowell website in the USA, for display on Edward MacDowell’s own page.
Two videos of Nina playing compositions, written in memory of the great guitarist, Julian Bream, who passed in 2020, are included on a website, dedicated to Bream’s career: ‘Pavan’ for Julian by Mark Houghton – and Tombeau for Julian by Stepan Rak.
Nina participated in the last three Romsey Festivals – and in 2021 & 2023 – she performed an evening recital in the United Reformed Church.
