Saturday 4th July 11am – 3pm
Explore the intersection of sound and drawing in this hands-on workshop at the Abbey United Reformed Church. Experiment with mark-making, and discover how to translate music into visuals in this fun and interactive drop in workshop! Throughout the day the church will play host to a variety of sounds from musicians and choirs to birdsong and creating our own through our percussive abilities. Drop in to any of the sessions throughout the day, artist in residence Elizabeth Hammond will be on hand to provide guidance and demonstrations. There will also be an opportunity to create and collaborate on a large scale drawing. All ages and stages welcome, all materials provided, no previous musical or art experience necessary!
