TAE Teatro players in 2017

Romsey Festival has announced that they will be joined in July 2023 by TAE Teatro. 

A theatre company from Romsey’s twin town of Treviglio, Italy, TAE Teatro performances bring innovation and variety through a schedule that includes stage and street-based performances.

When they appeared at the festival in 2017, they participated in the Beggars Fair in a performance that included stilt walkers and accompanying players. They also undertook several community performances across the town that proved very popular.

TAE Teatro have a passion for art and the sharing of knowledge through theatre workshops that aim to encourage and train young actors, many of whom join the company.

Details of their programme from July 6-9 will be published on the festival website in due course.

Chairman of Romsey Festival Liz Wagner said: “We are delighted that TAE Teatro are visiting Romsey again during Romsey Festival. They will be a exciting addition to the many and varied local Festival events and we look forward to welcoming these very talented performers.”
