A collection of short stories, music and dance, performed, directed and produced by RAODS Youth members.
To celebrate the Romsey Festival 2023, RAODS Youth members are taking control of the Plaza Theatre. This compilation show showcases the talent of RAODS Youth members as they not only perform on stage, but also produce and direct the show themselves. A donation from every ticket sold will go to the Romsey Festival.
Act One – The Play – Bedtime Stories (as told by our dad) (who messed them up) by Ed Monk
It’s Dad’s turn to tell his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories, but when he gets fuzzy on the details, the classics get creative: a prince with a snoring problem spices up The Princess and The Pea, The Boy Who Cried Wolf cries dinosaur instead, and Rumpelstiltskin helps turn all that pesky gold into straw. You may think you know your fairy tales, but not the way Dad tells them.
Act Two – The Music – A collection of music and dances as chosen by the RAODS Youth members.
With singalong hits direct from the West End, to classics we all know and love. The show culminates with huge finale song that will get you up on your feet!
