Monday 3rd July, 12:30- 13:30
The Hyde Pipers take their name from their practice venue, the Hyde Tavern in Winchester. They play Northumbrian Small Pipes, often arranged in harmony, and have a repertoire including traditional Northumbrian and Scottish tunes and compositions.
Take Note chamber choir is also based in Winchester; their repertoire includes folk, gospel, classical and popular songs, sung acapella. Expect a 16th century song from Thomas Morley, a bang up-to-date Coronation anthem and a bears’ picnic!
Get a taste of their performances by visiting the Hyde Pipers and Take Note Facebook pages
